Croeso i The Cottage. The Cottage Care Home in Mold offers a warm, homely environment within a beautifully refurbished period building, surrounded by landscaped gardens and conveniently located near the town centre.
Following our recent refurbishment, all 46 bedrooms now benefit from modern ensuite wet rooms, providing comfort, privacy and dignity for every resident.
Rated Good in all areas by Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) in April 2026, our dedicated team provides high-quality residential and respite care with kindness, compassion and professionalism. Every resident is supported as an individual, with person-centred care, engaging daily activities, regular pet visits and freshly prepared meals creating a happy and welcoming atmosphere.
The Cottage Care Home combines modern facilities with genuine compassion, offering a peaceful, community-focused place where residents feel safe, valued and truly at home.

As Registered Manager of The Cottage Care Home, I feel incredibly proud to lead a team that shares the same passion for providing exceptional care and creating meaningful relationships with our residents and their families.
One of my proudest achievements has been leading the home through its recent transformation. Following our Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) inspection in April 2026, I was incredibly proud that The Cottage achieved a 'Good' rating across every inspection area, recognising the dedication, compassion and hard work shown by the whole team every single day.
